GATE 2025 GA General Aptitude Syllabus

(Common for all, 10 Question, 15 Marks)

Important Note for Candidates: In the GATE examination, the total number of questions is divided into two sections:

1. General Aptitude (GA) : This section consists of 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks.
2. Engineering Mathematics + Core technical subject: This section comprises 55 questions with a total of 85 marks.

There are three types of questions in GATE: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

The General Aptitude section is a common component across all papers of the GATE 2025 examination, constituting 15 marks out of 100 for each subject.
