UPSC | Engineering Services Examination 2009 (Written) Result
The UPSC has announced result of the written part of the Engineering Services Examination, 2009 held in June 2009. Out of total of 131937 candidates admitted in the examination, 51840 candidates appeared in the written part of the examination. 1493 candidates have qualified for interview for the personality test. The community wise and discipline wise break up of qualified candidates is as under:-

The result is available on PIB website www.pib.nic.in and also on UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in Interview of candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test are scheduled to be held from February 22, 2010 onwards. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through Interview Letter. Roll Number wise Interview Scheduled will also be available on Commission's Website by second week of February, 2010.
The marks-sheets of candidates who have not qualified will be available on the Commission's Website within one month from the date of publication of the result and would be available for a period of 60 days.
The candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. Detailed Application Forms (DAF) would be issued to all the qualified candidates shortly. In case the candidates don't receive the DAF by January 13, 2010, they should contact the Commission on Telephone No.23387402 or on Fax No.011-23387310.
